Australians are a pet loving lot, but we haven’t reconciled that with our love of property.

The Animal Health Alliance reports that there are an estimated 25 million pets in Australia (2 million more paws than people), with 5 million of Australia’s 7.6 million households playing home to a critter of some kind.
